Garville Court Holiday Homes are situated in the grounds of the 4* luxury Woodstock Hotel Golf and Country Club and just 2 miles from the town of Ennis in Co. Clare. These beautiful brand new Holiday Homes overlook the first Fairway of Woodstock Golf Course making them the ideal location for a family or golfing break. There is safe and convenient access from Woodstock to Ennis Town Centre via a fully paved well lit pedestrian route which leads directly into the town.

Each of these brand new holiday homes can accommodate up to 5 people in one double bedroom, a twin and a single bedroom. The houses are bright, modern and spacious and feature all modern conveniences including washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and colour television.

The open plan living cum dining area features an open fireplace and a cozy suite of furniture.

Woodstock House Golf & Country Club is situated adjacent to Garville Court Holiday Homes. This is a full championship size course, 6,620 yards and par 71. As the course has been built on free draining soil, Woodstock is playable all year round - whatever the weather! Guests of Garville Court can avail of special discounted green fees at Woodstock. Rate Notes

The rates published are weekly rates, unless otherwise stated. During the peak summer season weekly lettings are from Saturday to Saturday. For off peak periods we can offer flexibility on arrival dates.

Weekend, mid-week and Bank Holiday rates are available on request by email or by telephone 0404 64608 (International 00353 404 64608).

Booking Deposit
An immediate non-refundable booking deposit of €150 per property is required to secure booking. The balance of the payment is required not less than 6 weeks before arrival date.

Electricity
The charge for electricity is calculated on a usage basis. There is a meter reading when you arrive and when you leave and payment is made to the supervisor/caretaker.

Cots & Highchairs
Cots and highchairs must be pre-ordered.

Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of €150 must be paid to the supervisor/caretaker on arrival. The deposit will be refunded once the supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions of rental have been compiled with. It is expected that the homes be left in a clean & tidy condition on departing. All rubbish should be gathered and stored in suitable plastic bags. Failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of security deposit. When a rental is for longer than one week, cleaning of the house during rental must be requested from the on-site manager and a fee may apply.

The county town of Clare is the town of Ennis. Built on the River Fergus, it is a centre of administration, commerce and industry. In the 13th century, an O Brien built a castle here and the town grew around this. In 1612, Ennis became a borough. A tourist trail of the town takes in a number of historical and archeological items of interest. These include Ennis Abbey, the O Connell monument, the Courthouse. Public transport access to the town is by bus or by train, and Shannon Airport is nearby also.

Ennis Trad Festival
The Ennis Trad Festival is a festival for those who love to hear (or play) Irish traditional music of the highest quality in its most natural setting.

Now in its eleventh year, the festival brings together the very best of Irish traditional musicians in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Over 20 venues host selected exponents of the music, carefully mixed and matched to ensure a choice of many great sessions.

In addition, spotlight concerts every night (Thursday to Monday) feature internationally renowned bands. There are many other events too, including CD launches, recitals and c�il�s. It all happens over a long weekend in November, in Ennis, the capital of Irelands premier music county - County Clare.

Ennis Friary
This 13th century Franciscan friary, founded by the O Briens, has numerous 15/16th century sculptures carved in the local hard limestone. The visitor can see the figure of Saint Francis displaying the stigmata an elaborately ornamented screen, a representation of the Virgin and Child and the Ecce Homo. The Chancel is lit by the magnificent east window. Guided tour: Max 30 Available on request.

Ennis Swimming Pool
The people of Ennis have been enjoying the service of the Ennis Swimming Pool for thirty years. The 25 metre pool caters for between 120 to 130,000 visitors each year, many being from local schools and swimming clubs. Five lifeguards and swimming instructors staff the pool and it is open from 06.00 to 22.00. New facility under construction and will have all modern leisure club facilities, including a 25m 6 lane pool, childrens learner pool with spectator area.

October Arts In Ennis
Voluntary organisation to develop and promote the Arts in Ennis. Culminating in an annual Arts Festival attracting national and international performers. 9 members meetings held weekly. From 7th to 30th October

Things to do and see in Clare

Dolphinwatch Carrigaholt
The bottlenose dolphins of the Shannon Estuary are the only known resident group around the Irish coast. The boat trip, lasting 2 hours takes you into the Mouth of the River Shannon where unspoiled coastline forms the backdrop for encounters with the dolphins. A hydrophone enables us to listen to the dolphins sounds underwater.

Kilkee Waterworld
Kilkee Waterworld offers a range of facilities, these range from Tommy Turtles Pool for children, The Lazy River, Bubbles and Currents and much much more. Swimming courses are also available for the aged 4 to 14 groups.

Bunratty Castle And Folk Park
Bunratty Castle was built in 1425 by the MacNamaras and then passed to the O'Briens who were Earls of Thomond. The Castle is furnished with mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings. Medieval Banquets are held in the Castle year round, subject to demand. Bunratty Folk Park recreates rural and urban life in the 19th century Ireland. Visitors can for example view farmhouses of various economic backgrounds, a watermill, church and village street. The Traditional Irish Evening is held in the Corn Barn in Bunratty Folk Park from April to October. The Walled Garden at 19th Bunratty House has been sensitively restored and is a must-see for all garden enthusiasts.

The Burren Centre
Discover the unique magic of the Burren Region in A Walk Through Time at the new Burren Centre. The new visitor centre lies at the heart of the historic village of Kilfenora. It boasts a fantastic new exhibition, audio visual film theatre, local craft shop and tea room. The visitor can explore the mysteries of The Burren the story of the flora, fauna, archaeology, geology, legends and natural history of this magnificent limestone region.

Burren Outdoor Education Centre, Turlough The centre offers a wide range of adventure and outdoor activities which include caving, canoeing, sailing, orienteering, rock climbing and hill walking. Other programmes include Specialist Training, Environmental Studies and Team Building and Development.

The Cliffs of Moher
Situated in County Clare and bordering the Burren Area, the Cliffs of Moher are one of Irelands most spectacular sights. Standing 230 metres above the ground at their highest point and 8km long, the Cliffs boast one of the most amazing views in Ireland. On a clear day, the Aran Islands are visible in Galway Bay as well as the valleys and hills of Connemara.
